The Mobile Dj Handbook: How to Start and Run a Profitable Mobile Disc Jockey Service

I got this book a few years ago when we wanted to get serious about our DJing and take it beyond the parties of friends. This was in 2003 just before the big job collapse which caused us to move. Out here there isn't any scene to speak of so doing mobile in our market is out and I don't do country so its just not happening. We have our own private club for our own benefit and the benefit of anyone that would come to visit (see 'The Vertigo' Collection). This is good enough because at this point in my life I have to get really serious about what I am going to do to make a decent living and unless I want to move to Las Vegas, there really isn't going to be a Mobile DJ startup and expect to pay a mortgage on a house, get a car and save money for life's expenses and our dreams. I have to be realistic here. If you are starting a Mobile DJ operation, this book gives a really good overview and is written by someone who really was a mobile DJ.
