I have written several descriptions under photographs and audio for several items. In order to see these "descriptions", you have to look at each one individually or in "slideshow mode" so that the picture or CD Cover is large showing in the middle of the screen, then what I wrote about it will be seen underneath it. I haven't posted a description of everything but have for quite a few things.
Before this gets to "wordy", I'll end.
Personal Note: I got some extremely good news a little while ago that I was not expecting but had hoped would come eventually. I'm not going to tell what it is because its near to my heart right now and I'm not sure what I can say yet as I haven't received the specifications sheet so to speak. I know, if you don't know me or whats going on in my life right now then this will make no sense and please just disregard but the main point I am trying to make is that I feel some joy today and haven't felt that for awhile. I have been given something to look forward to in the short term.

I did a link check a little while ago and I thought I had corrected the PRACS one last week. Turns out I didn't. It had an extra "/" mark at the end that kept messing it up. Now I have it corrected, at least it worked when I tested it.
Seems like everything else is working as well. If you do click a link and its not working, let me know and I'll look into it.

I used to DJ in Seattle with my ex turned friend. At the time we played Goth weddings and private parties, we were mobile DJs. Out here in Minnesota we DJ'd at a club for a little while but there isn't a scene out this way so it didn't get off the ground that well.
Anyway, I have begun to go through all the CDs I have listed in my VOX Audio section. It will take time to get to all of them and I am skipping around quite a bit to keep it interesting. The point is that I am making comments about the cds, what I thought of them, maybe highlighting certain tracks and giving the reasons why I like them or the CD in general. I am also going to "star" rate everything. VOX has five stars to use for a rating system. If you don't see a rating from me on the CD, I will get back to it. Also, some CDs just contain notes to myself about who (myself or my ex) owns a certain cd. She is storing my CDs until I can safely retrieve them.
Its fun and maybe if you are curious about a certain CD, I can fill you in on it a little better. Also, feel free to send me a message if you have a specific question about something, just don't be rude or disrespectful if you expect a response or don't want to have your message or comment deleted. I don't put up with ill mannered people.
I will eventually as time allows get to the video and book collection as well but for me a former Mobile DJ, the CD collection if the obvious place to start.
Yours Truly,
DJ Echelon
Just in case there is any confusion, I am a Male Goth. Most of my friends are female and I have pictures of goth girls on my site because I like girls a lot, and goth girls are my favorite. I myself am straight as in not gay but I make no judgements on what anyone else wants to do. Just thought I'd throw that in as a bonus in case anyone might be wondering. A careful read of my profile will reveal that I am male and my blog has explained the deal on photographs as well, so before anyone posts a comment thinking they are talking to one of the girls that are pictured, you might just want to read a little more carefully first :) . I can see how that mistake would be made though so no harm, no foul and the pictures of the goths are very attractive and I am glad to see that others share that opinion as well.

Due to having to run things remotely right now at the Moorhead Library, I am only able to check MySpace infrequently because they filter it for child protection compliance. Sometimes I can get the filter temporarily removed but its easiest to just communicate with me by HotMail or right here in VOX by message :) .
Happy Days Ahead,

The link to PRACS on the right sidebar is now fixed.
Due to the fact that I do not have access to the PC that my photo files are stored on or the photo CDs/memory cards themselves, I have been unable to post my picture. I am going to try and get them from my LJ (gothboi733) and do a cut/paste manuver in an attempt to get a photo or two posted on VOX. The library computers are a little haphazzard when it comes to accessing certain sites like Photobucket and MySpace. It is my intention to see if the librarians will turn off the filtering for the computer I am using so I can get into those sites. So please be patient, photos are on the way.
In the meantime, the stock photos I have posted in the gallery are still worth checking out because they represent things I am interested in (like cute goth girls, lions & cats, faeries, and vintage Commodore computers among other things). I will add photos and interests as time progresses. I really like this VOX site, so I'm going to take my time and do a good job with as much creativity as my access to technology will allow until I can eventually get everything up & running.
LINK UPDATE: Okay, I got the link to my LJ on my VOX profile, so it will link and then click on the 'gothboi733' link on LJ and it will display my LJ profile and from there you can view some pictures until I can get some more (& better ones).
Sincerely,
Echelon
Hello All & Welcome!
As time progresses I will be adding more of my CD & Video/Movie collection to my VOX site. Once I get re-established and can find sometime and get a new laptop, I will upload my favorite audio clips. What you see now is only a fraction of my collection that is currently in storage until I can get them back and take them to my new home.
In addition to the audio & movies and I will post only ones I have heard and liked but mostly the ones I own, I will be posting my book collection as well. As of today I do not have any uploaded but hey, its not like there isn't any time, so be sure to check back.
I need friends to link to so if your interests are the same as mine, please add me, especially if you are in the Seattle & Portland areas, as I will be back out there later this year and would welcome meeting new people, indeed new friends.
Yours Truly,
Echelon
